The invention relates to a novel load type diesel hydrotreating catalyst and application thereof. According to the technical scheme, a metallic element and nano Fe2P are loaded onto an oxide carrier, wherein the oxide carrier is SiO2-TiO2-Al2O3 ternary oxide carrier, and the metallic element is one or a mixture of at least more than two in Mo, Co, Ni, Pt and Pd. The novel load type diesel hydrotreating catalyst has a mesopore (1-40nm) structure in microscopic view, and not only is high in hydrodesulfurization (HDS) activity and high in hydrodenitrification (HDN) activity in the aspect of diesel hydrofining, but also is high in activity in the aspect of hydrogenation saturation (HDA) of aromatic hydrocarbon. The novel load type diesel hydrotreating catalyst has the advantages that the operation is simple, and the technological conditions needed by the novel load type diesel hydrotreating catalyst are milder than original technological conditions.
