The invention discloses a method for partition calibration of a transformer by using a moving target. The method comprises the steps that the single round LED light target is driven to move in the space of the transformer through a precise moving control system; images of the light target are obtained through a CCD camera and are transmitted to a computer in real time; the images of the light target are processed through the image processing technology, and the position coordinates of the center of the target in the image plane are obtained; points on the image plane are partitioned into proper areas in a homocentric-squares shape; the coordinates of the centers of images in all the areas of all spaces are calibrated through the least square method, in other words, the central coordinates of the section of the transformer are calibrated. According to the method, interface distinguishing is conducted on the transformer based on the CMM moving target, a calibration template high in precision requirement does not need to be made, the LED light target is driven to move through a coordinate measuring machine, the difficulty of obtaining precise spatial three-dimensional point sets is greatly lowered, meanwhile, calibration calculation is conducted on the points in the image plane in a partition mode, and the calibration precision of a camera can be effectively improved.
