The invention relates to a method for analyzing coordination and safety of protective relaying of a regional power grid. Real-time remote measurement and communication information is acquired form an EMS/SCADA (energy management system/supervisory control and data acquisition) system, acquired real-time grid data is matched with an established grid topological structural graph, corresponding data formats are changed, and a precise initial grid model is generated; an anticipated fault set is established according to study on fault conditions and stored in a database; a fault calculation algorithm file and a check calculation rule file are imported into the database; the generated real-time grid model and the initial grid model in the database are compared, if a difference occurs, the stored anticipated fault set and a fault calculation algorithm are loaded to calculate faults of the generated precise real-time grid model, and check results are output. Auxiliary information is provided for scheduling operators to perform real-time decision making. A protection fixed value of a current regional grid protection system can be checked and estimated online, and all protective performance and stability of the system are judged in real time.
