A compound medicine for curing acute and chronic hepatitis B comprises a polyphenol selenium compound with an alkali metal ion selenium complex as a main functional group. The polyphenol selenium compound has a function of directly sterilizing hepatitis B virus and destroying a hepatitis B virus replication template. An auxiliary formula contains high-purity oxymatrine and sulfated glycyrrhizin. The oxymatrine has an effect of resisting hepatitis B virus and can be used for curing acute and chronic hepatitis, regulating immunity and raising leucocyte. The sulfated glycyrrhizin, used as a main liver cell membrane protective agent has effects of resisting inflammation, regulating immunity and protecting hepatocyte. The above compound medicine has no toxic or side effect.
