The invention relates to a dry-type transformer cooling device with the intelligent frequency conversion function. The dry-type transformer cooling device comprises a frequency conversion refrigeration compressor, a cooling chamber, a refrigeration system and a control module, wherein the work of the frequency conversion refrigeration compressor can be controlled by automatically controlling the frequency. The cooling chamber is divided into an upper shell and a lower shell. The top of the upper shell is provided with circular holes through which a high-voltage sleeve and a low-voltage sleeve of the dry-type transformer can penetrate respectively. The parts, penetrating out of the circular holes, of the sleeves are tightly sealed through a seal ring. The dry-type transformer is fixed in a cavity of the cooling chamber. Cold media flow in the cooling chamber in a circulation mode. The refrigeration system conducts refrigeration circulation on the cold media to meet the requirement that the dry-type transformer is cooled through the cold media. The lower portion of the side face of the cooling chamber is provided an inlet valve for cold media feeding, and the upper portion of the other opposite side face of the cooling chamber is provided with an outlet valve for cold media discharging. The upper portion of the side face of the cooling chamber is further provided with a temperature sensor. The control module is electrically connected to the temperature sensor and the frequency conversion refrigeration compressor. The control module controls work of the refrigeration compressor automatically.
