The invention discloses a polyurethane imide-graphene/nanometer carbon fiber blending wave-absorbing foam material and a preparation method thereof. According to the preparation method, dianhydride, polyalcohol, an adjuvant nanometer carbon fiber, a catalyst, a foaming agent and a foam stabilizer are mixed to obtain a component A, and the adjuvant is graphene or graphene oxide; and (2) the component A and polyisocyanate are mixed and then undergo foaming to obtain the olyurethane imide-graphene/nanometer carbon fiber blending wave-absorbing foam material. The method of the invention has the following advantages that (1) the contents of the raw materials can be adjusted in a wider range based on the one-step process of the method; (2) the nanometer carbon fiber as the wave absorber can make the foam material have good wave absorption performance; and (3) by adding graphene in the system, the mechanical performances of the foam material such as compression are greatly improved, and the electric performance of the foam material can be improved.
