Provided is a dry separation method which is capable of continuously separating separation targets at a low cost and in an eco-friendly manner. A dry separation method according to the present invention comprises: inputting separation targets into a gas-solid fluidized bed where powder is fluidized; introducing a dispersed gas into the gas-solid fluidized bed; and separating the separation targets by using the apparent density of the gas-solid fluidized bed, wherein the recovery rates of the separation targets are changed according to a difference in specific gravities of the separation targets. In an aspect of the present invention, in a case where the specific gravity of separation of the gas-solid fluidized bed is assumed to be Dp, the separation target which has a specific gravity outside a range of Dp+-0.2 is recovered at a faster speed than the separation target which has a specific gravity within the range of Dp+-0.2.
