The invention discloses a method for ensuring channel continuity after precoding, a base station, and a piece of user equipment (UE). The method comprises: the base station notifying the UE of whether data sent by the base station to the UE employs a precoding mode of continuity on a frequency domain, and the base station, according to a precoding mode of the continuity on the frequency domain or discontinuity on the frequency domain, sending the data to the UE. The method further comprises: the UE, according to a notification of the base station, when it is determined that the data sent by the base station to the UE employs the precoding mode of the continuity on the frequency domain, executing an optimized channel estimation and demodulation mode within a processing capability scope of itself. According to the invention, the channel continuity of the precoding can be ensured, and the system performance and the frequency spectrum efficiency are improved.
