The invention relates to a preparation method of a polyolefin composite membrane, which comprises the following steps: proportionally polymerizing methyl methacrylate and gamma-methylacryloyloxypropyltriethoxysilane to form a copolymer of which the molecular formula is disclosed in the specification, wherein m and n are respectively a whole number; dissolving the copolymer in a first solvent to form a copolymer solution; scraping the copolymer solution on the surface of a polyolefin porous membrane, and drying, thereby forming a gel polymer electrolyte precast layer on the surface and the internal hole walls of the polyolefin porous membrane; and fumigating the polyolefin porous membrane containing the gel polymer electrolyte precast layer in a hydrochloric acid atmosphere. The invention also relates to a polyolefin composite membrane and a lithium ion battery.
