The invention discloses a method for reinforcing the deck crane pedestal of a drilling platform, which is used for reinforcing the cylindrical pedestal of a deck crane on a self-elevating type drilling platform or a deepwater semi-submersible type drilling platform in ocean engineering. The method comprises the following steps: a radial reinforcing step of determining the dimensions and quantity of a radial reinforcing structure according to the parameters of the cylindrical pedestal of the deck crane, and installing the radial reinforcing structure on the outer surface of the cylindrical pedestal of the deck crane to carry out radial reinforcing; an axial reinforcing step of determining the dimensions and quantity of an axial reinforcing structure according to the parameters of the radially-reinforced cylindrical pedestal of the deck crane, and installing the axial reinforcing structure on the outer surface of the cylindrical pedestal of the deck crane to carry out axial reinforcing. The method disclosed by the invention is simple in reinforcing structure form, convenient to construct and operate, short in construction period, cost-saving, and easy to popularize.
