The invention provides a system and method for verifying phase selection operating performance of a high voltage phase selection breaker. The system comprises a power supply G, a transformer T, a current-limiting resistor R, a compensation capacitor C, the high voltage phase selection breaker SP, a current measuring device I1, a core penetrating type current transformer I2, a voltage measuring device U1 and a voltage divider U2. The power supply G is connected with a primary side of the transformer T in series, the current-limiting resistor R is connected with the compensation capacitor C in series to form an R-C subcircuit, the high voltage phase selection breaker SP, the current measuring device I1 and the core penetrating type current transformer I2 are connected in series in sequence to form an SP-I1-I2 subcircuit, the R-C subcircuit and the SP-I1-I2 subcircuit are connected in series and are connected with a secondary side of the transformer T, and the voltage measuring device U1 and the voltage divider U2 are both connected with the SP-I1-I2 subcircuit in parallel. The system and method for verifying the phase selection operating performance of the high voltage phase selection breaker can meet the requirements for assessing the phase selection operation of the breaker, applied equipment is few, and the system and method for verifying the phase selection operating performance of the high voltage phase selection breaker are easy to achieve.
