The invention provides a hydropower station water level measurement method. Two hydraulic sensors are adopted to measure the water level of a hydropower station simultaneously, data measured by the two hydraulic sensors is firstly subjected to amplitude-limiting filtering and then subjected to digital lowpass filtering, the deviation ratio per unit of depth is calculated according to the data filtered twice, and then the water level of the hydropower station is calculated according to the deviation ratio, therefore, the measurement precision is ensured. The invention also provides a hydropower station water level measurement system. When the water level values measured by the two hydraulic sensors have large deviation, the phenomenon indicates that one hydraulic sensor has poor measurement precision and is required to be adjusted or replaced, so that the phenomena that equipment ageing is caused, the measurement result precision is gradually reduced and the problem is difficult to find due to long-time use of only one hydraulic sensor are avoided.
