The power tool (10a) has a main handle (14a) and a gripping unit (12a). The main handle and a stirrup-shaped handle (16a) are arranged to form a battery pack receiving unit (18a) for receiving a removable battery pack unit (20a). The battery pack receiving unit covers a battery pack receptacle (22a) that is provided in the inner region of main handle or in inner region of stirrup-shaped handle. An electronic unit is connected between the battery pack receptacle and electric motor unit (32a) in inner area of tool housing (36a).
