The invention discloses a standing wave electron linear accelerator device and a method thereof. The device comprises a high direct voltage electronic gun configured for generating an electron beam, a pulse power supply configured for providing a main pulse power signal, a power divider used for dividing the main pulse power signal output by the pulse power supply into a first pulse power signal and a second pulse power signal, a first accelerating tube used for accelerating the electron beam through the first pulse power signal, a second accelerating tube used for accelerating the electron beam through the second pulse power signal, and a phase shifter used for continuously adjusting the phase difference between the first pulse power signal and the second pulse power signal so as to generate the accelerated electron beam with continuously-adjusted energy at the output end of the second accelerating tube.
