The invention provides a server timing method and system, and a GPS cloud management server. The method comprises the following steps: the GPS cloud management server is used to receive timing information of each GPS module, and compare the timing information to discard the timing information of the GPS modules which are distributed abnormally; the average timing time is calculated and the timing information differing from the average timing time for a value exceeding a first threshold value is discarded; weighting is performed on the remaining timing information to obtain the timing time through calculation; grouping information of the server and the system time of each server group are acquired; and the timing time is compared with the system time of each server group to see whether the timing time is consistent with the system time, and when the timing time is not consistent with the system time, timing is performed on the server group according to the timing time. Compared with the prior art, according to the invention, advantages of high safety and convenient management can be realized, when timing is performed on a large number of servers, the advantage of easy operation can be realized, and the timing accuracy can be effectively controlled, the system disorder will not be caused, and the timing safety of the whole server system can be ensured.
