The intelligent domestic electric appliance is used for carrying out corresponding operation according to the control item information when it is judged that the identification code of the intelligent domestic electric appliance is carried in the received control item information. The identification code of the intelligent domestic electric appliance, the identification code of the intelligent set top box and operation results are carried in feedback information to be broadcasted in a wireless mode. The intelligent set top box is further used for carrying out follow-up operation according to the received feedback information. According to the technical scheme, because the intelligent set top box is in wireless communication with the intelligent domestic electric appliance, a user can control the intelligent domestic electric appliance without a gateway, and purchasing cost is reduced.
