The invention provides an assessment method of short-circuit current restraining schemes. The assessment method is based on an aggregative indicator method of variable coefficient weights. The assessment method comprises the steps that I, the number n and the serial numbers i of a short-circuit current restraining scheme set are determined; II, the short-circuit current restraining effect indicators of the short-circuit current restraining schemes are determined, and the assessment matrix of the short-circuit current restraining effect indicators is established; III, same-direction processing and dimensionless processing of the current restraining effect indicators are conducted on the assessment matrix to obtain a standard assessment matrix; IV, all indicator weights are determined according to a coefficient variation method and the standard assessment matrix; V, the aggregative indicators of the current restraining schemes are determined according to the aggregative indicator method and the indicator weights, and the optimized short-circuit current restraining scheme is determined. According to the assessment method of the short-circuit current restraining schemes, the coefficient variation method is used for calculating the current restraining effect indicator weights, the weight average indicator is used for giving different weights to all the indicators to obtain the aggregative indictors of the schemes, and the comprehensive effects of a 220 kV power grid short-circuit current restraining scheme are assessed according to the aggregative indicators of all the schemes.
