The invention relates to an LED fluorescent cover and a fabrication method thereof, relating to the technical field of fluorescent covers. The LED fluorescent cover comprises the following components by weight percent: 90-96 percent of single-component solid silicon rubber, 3-8 percent of fluorescent powder and 1-2 percent of curing agent, and the fabrication method comprises the following steps: Step 1. the calendaring rubber of single component solid silicon rubber, fluorescent powder and the curing agent serving as the raw materials are mixed, and are smelted by using an open mill or an internal mixer and then stood for 2-4 hours; Step 2. the temperature, pressure and time of a curing press are controlled according to the size of the fluorescent cover mold, and the curing press vulcanizes the raw materials of the fluorescent cover mold produced in the mixing step; Step 3. the fluorescent cover is taken out slowly by using an air pressure gun; Step 4. the semi-finished products are roasted in a closed space at the temperature of 150-200 DEG C for 1-2 hours. The LED fluorescent cover has the advantages of low cost, high light transmission, uniformity of effluent light rays, long service life and good optical consistency.
