The invention discloses an infrared double-waveband mosaic array optical filter of a sub-wavelength grating structure, and belongs to the technical field of binary optics and infrared scene generation. The optical filter is composed of a silicon substrate and a sub-wavelength grating array located on the silicon substrate, wherein the sub-wavelength grating array is of a mosaic array structure formed by a plurality of units, only one wave band of the two wave bands can penetrate through each unit, and the wave bands penetrating through every two adjacent units are different. According to the infrared double-waveband mosaic array optical filter of the sub-wavelength grating structure, the sub-wavelength grating structure realizes an optical filtering function of a narrow band with the central wavelength being 2.5-3.6 micrometers and the band width being 0.1 micrometer by changing the period of a medium grating layer and a metal grating layer, enables the two types of grating structures to be arranged in a staggered mode, and forms a double-waveband infrared mosaic array.
