The invention relates to a whole-process automatic control system and method of the steam drum water level of a gas turbine waste heat boiler. The system comprises a low-pressure steam drum, a medium-pressure steam drum, a high-pressure steam drum, a gas turbine, a gas compressor, a steam turbine high-pressure cylinder, a steam turbine medium-pressure cylinder, a steam turbine low-pressure cylinder, an electric generator and a steam condenser. By means of the system and method, control modes can be switched according to closing states of a bypass, whole-process automatic control over the steam drum water level of the gas turbine waste heat boiler is completely achieved, decoupling is achieved, the steam drum water level can be quickly and stably controlled when a unit changes greatly, design requirements of the unit are met, and robustness is good.
