The invention discloses a construction method for land reclamation with modified phosphorous gypsum material. The method is convenient, rapid and easy to operate; a cofferdam treatment method, a land reclamation material stirring process control method, a filling body forming construction method and a maintenance control method are improved, the length and the width of the cofferdam are determined, and the stirring mixing time of the materials, the water addition proportion and the water addition stirring time are determined, so that the solidification speed of the modified phosphorous gypsum material after the land reclamation can be remarkably increased, and the construction requirements of a land reclamation project are met.
