The invention discloses a method for processing nickle-containing residual ores. The method comprises the following steps of dividing the nickle-containing residual ores into magnesium ores and iron ores; carrying out leaching processing on the iron ores by utilizing sulfuric acid so as to obtain lixivium containing ferric sulfate, wherein content of free acid in the lixivium containing ferric sulfate is 40 to 45g/L; at a temperature of 85 to 98 DEG C, carrying out primary neutralizing treatment on the lixivium containing ferric sulfate by utilizing the magnesium ores so as to reduce the content of the free acid in the lixivium to 5g/L; at a temperature of 85 to 98 DEG C, carrying out secondary neutralizing treatment on the lixivium subjected to primary neutralizing treatment by utilizing a first neutralizer so as to keep the pH of the lixivium subjected to primary neutralizing treatment in the range of 1.0 to 2.5; and carrying out tertiary neutralizing treatment on the lixivium subjected to secondary neutralizing treatment by utilizing a second neutralizer and filtering so as to obtain high-iron filter residues and the lixivium containing nickel and cobalt. By utilizing the method, valued metals in the nickle-containing residual ores can be effectively recovered.
