The invention relates to a purple reactive dye and a preparation method thereof. The structural general formula of the purple reactive dye is disclosed as Formula (I). The product has the advantages of simple structure, low raw material cost, bright color, high fixation and high fastness. The purple reactive dye can be used for dyeing cotton, wool, nylon and other fibers; the dyeing process has favorable reproducibility and stability; and the preparation process is simple and convenient to operate.
