The objective of the invention is to slow down the operating characteristic in the opening operation of a valve element during capacity control. By providing a discharged fluid receiving part larger than the diameter of a valve hole which causes a first valve chamber and a third valve chamber to communicate with each other at the outer periphery of a third valve part in a capacity control valve, the discharged fluid receiving part receives the pressure of a discharged fluid when a first valve part is opened, and therefore the operating characteristic in the opening operation of a valve element is slowed down, thereby making it possible to prevent the excessive increase of the sensitivity to rise in the pressure in a crankcase due to the sharp increase of the amount of a coolant flowing into the crankcase, and obtain the capacity control valve with a stable valve element operation.
