The switching unit has a switching element (12) actuated by a user, and a transmission element (14) partially coupled to the switching element, where the transmission element slides a portion of a transmission unit (10) between two switching positions and exhibits a form of circular segment. Another transmission element (16) is partially coupled to the switching element. The latter transmission element actuates a portion of a percussion unit (18). One of the transmission elements rests against a conversion element (20) in an operating condition.
