An object of the present invention is to provide a photosensitive resin composition for color filters, which can form a color layer that does not produce color unevenness and aggregate deposition upon formation thereof, that has excellent re-solubility in solvents, excellent alkali developing property and excellent heat and light resistance, and that has high luminance. Disclosed are a dye dispersion liquid and a photosensitive resin composition comprising the dye dispersion liquid, the dye dispersion liquid comprising a dye (A) dispersed by a dispersant (B) in a solvent (C), wherein the dye (A) is a dye having a sulfonic acid group; the dispersant (B) is a block polymer containing a blocking portion which comprises a repeating unit having a tertiary amine; the solvent (C) is a solvent having a solubility of the dye (A) of 0.2(g/100g solvent) or less at 23 DEG C; and a micelle is formed by an acid-base interaction between the tertiary amine of the dispersant (B) and the sulfonic acid group of the dye (A).
