The invention discloses a method for monitoring a transformer substation device. The method comprises the steps of uploading device information of all spacer-layer devices of a transformer substation to a station control layer; respectively setting up a data unit, a monitoring unit and a control unit on the station control layer; setting up an information model of the transformer substation according primary device information and secondary device information of the device information and an incidence relation between a primary device and a secondary device; storing the uploaded device information in the data unit according to the information model of the transformer substation; reading the monitored device information from the data unit and displaying the device information by having access to the data unit by the monitoring unit; controlling the spacer-layer devices corresponding to the device information according to the displayed device information and the received control command by the control unit. According to the technology, complete sharing of system data in the transformer substation is achieved, the abnormal complexity and difficulty of the operation and maintenance working of the system are reduced, the monitoring efficiency of the transformer substation is improved, and the maintenance cost of the monitoring system is reduced.
