The invention discloses a platinum-based super-hydrophobic electrode material constructed in a bio-inspired mode, and belongs to the field of surface treatment of a metal substrate. The method comprises the following steps of laser etching of an original platinum sheet, pretreatment of the laser-etched platinum sheet, preparation of aqua regia, immersion of the platinum sheet into the aqua regia for corrosion, preparation of alcohol solution of polyperfluoro alkyl siloxane, immersion of the platinum sheet into the alcohol solution of polyperfluoro alkyl siloxane for modifying, vapor deposition of polyperfluoro alkyl siloxane on the surface of the platinum sheet for modifying, and the like. The electrode material has the advantages that the preparation method has a simple flow, and the super-hydrophobic surface is formed on the surface of platinum through laser etching, aqua regia corrosion and fluorosilane modifying; the original platinum sheet is etched by laser through the physical method, the laser-etched platinum sheet is chemically corroded through the chemical method, and then the surface of the platinum is subjected to the modifying of polyperfluoro alkyl siloxane, so the surface energy is degraded to realize the super-hydrophobic function, and the contact angle of water on the surface is 150 degrees.
