The embodiments of the invention provide a method and a device for generating access-channel preambles in an LTE system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of obtaining the length P of a ZC sequence, a root-associated parameter U, and a cyclic-shift-associated parameter CV; modeling the length P, the root-associated parameter U and the cyclic-shift-associated parameter CV according to a predetermined mode; calculating the DFT sequence of the ZC sequence; mapping the DFT sequence into the subblock of the sub-carrier P to obtain the IDFT result of points corresponding to the sampling frequency; and inserting a computer program (CP), interpolating by 12 times for long preambles and interpolating by 2 times for short preambles. Correspondingly, the invention provides a device for generating access-channel preambles in an LTE system. According to the invention, access-channel preambles can be simply generated in an LTE system.
