The invention relates to a three-column steel pipe tower applied to a power transmission line. The three-column steel pipe tower comprises three main pipes which are vertically arranged and distributed in a shape of a triangle, and a plurality of layers of horizontal triangular spacers formed by three horizontal pipes and used for connecting the three main pipes. Two main pipes are arranged on the pressure side of the three-column steel pipe tower, and the rest one is arranged on the tension side of the three-column steel pipe tower. The pipe diameter of the main pipe arranged on the tension side of the three-column steel pipe tower is greater than the pipe diameters of the main pipes arranged on the pressure side of the three-column steel pipe tower. The three-column steel pipe tower is simple in structure, elegant in appearance, small in occupied area and specific in power transmission, and is suitable for power transmission engineering in city districts. Compared with a traditional single-pipe tower, the three-column steel pipe tower is larger in overall rigidity, can effectively reduce the displacement of a tower top, and can also lower the construction capacity of an iron tower and the foundation, so as to obtain the purpose of saving resources. The main pipes of the three-column steel pipe tower are more reasonable in pressure bearing, and better in the stability of triangular space.
