The invention relates to a dedicated earth connection for centrally installed switchgear generatrix maintenance, which comprises a main body, wherein a fixed contact opening is formed in the top end of the main body; earthing wire screws are mounted on the side wall of the body; a handle is fixedly connected at the bottom of the main body; a buckle is formed in the handle; an insulating rod is connected with the handle; spring cushions are mounted on the fixed contact opening; and the number of the spring cushions is three. The dedicated earthing wire head has the advantages that the operating personnel using the earth connection can finish the generatrix earthing work alone; the equipment maintenance time is reduced; the electric reliability is improved; a PT (Potential transformer) cabinet back door is not needed to be opened when the generatrix is in contact with the earth; the safety precaution arrangement of the maintenance site is specified; and the personnel safety of the personnel is ensured.
