The invention provides a chiral zinc-nitrogen complex and a synthetic method of the chiral zinc-nitrogen complex. The chiral zinc-nitrogen complex has the chemical formula shown in the specification. The synthetic method of the complex comprises the following steps of: carrying out the reflux reaction to piperidine propionitrile and L-valinol in a chlorobenzene solvent at an anhydrous and anoxybiotic condition in the presence of 236mol% of anhydrous ZnCl2 which serves as a catalyst for 24 hours; and separating and purifying, namely removing chlorobenzene after the reaction, adding water to dissolve, extracting by chloroform, desolventizing an extract phase, purifying by the column chromatography, leaching a complex (I) through petroleum ether and dichloromethane, separating by the column chromatography, and naturally volatilizing to obtain a complex single crystal. The complex shows a certain catalytic performance in anitrile silicification reaction and a Henry reaction of benzaldehyde, and the conversion rate is respectively 60% and 52%.
