The present invention relates to a gasoline desulfurization method. A gasoline fraction containing a small amount of diesel components is mixed with hydrogen and fed into a pre-hydrogenation reactor. Pre-hydrogenation products are fed into a fractionating tower for fractionation. A light component from the top of the fractionating tower is directly used as a low-sulfur gasoline blending component. A heavy component from the bottom of the fractionating tower is fed into a washing tower to remove basic nitrides, and then fed into a group of olefin thiophene alkylation reactors in series connection to make thiophene sulfide in heavy gasoline to gain weight. The gasoline component from the alkylation reactor is fed into a catalytic distillation tower. The remaining thiophene sulfide gains weight under the action of an olefin thiophene alkylation catalyst at the upper part of the catalytic distillation tower. The gasoline is divided into a light component, and a heavy component. The light component is directly used as a low-sulfur gasoline blending component, and the heavy component is a diesel component gathering sulfides. The method of the present invention can greatly reduce sulfur content of gasoline and reduce the loss of octane number caused by desulfurization processes.
