The invention provides a treatment system and a treatment method of methanol rectification residual liquid. The treatment system of the methanol rectification residual liquid comprises a cooler, a filter and an oil-water separator, wherein a residual liquid inlet of the cooler is used for receiving methanol rectification residual liquid of a rectification tower; the residual liquid inlet of the filter is communicated with a residual liquid outlet of the cooler; and the residual liquid inlet of the oil-water separator is communicated with the residual liquid outlet of the filter. According to the treatment system and the treatment method of the methanol rectification residual liquid disclosed by the invention, the recovery efficiency of the paraffin wax in the methanol rectification residual liquid can be improved.
