本发明的目的在于提供一种电动工具，通过使该电动工具的变速开关的扳机操作容易，来使电动工具的可用性提高。本发明的电动工具是根据变速开关的操作量来控制对电机的电力供给量的构成的电动工具，其构成为能够进行与反复进行上述变速开关的开启操作与关闭操作时同样地使对上述电机的电力供给量间歇地变化的间歇控制、和根据上述变速开关的操作量来使对电机的电力供给量连续地变化的连续控制。

Disclosed is an electric tool with usability improved facilitating trigger operation of a variable speed switch of said electric tool. The disclosed electric tool is configured so as to control the amount of power supplied to a motor depending on the operation amount of the variable speed switch, and is configured to perform intermittent control, in which the amount of power supplied to the aforementioned motor is changed intermittently similarly to how ON and OFF operations of the aforementioned variable speed switch were repeated, and to perform continuous control, in which the amount of power supplied to the motor is changed continuously depending on the operation amount of the aforementioned variable speed switch.
