The invention provides a method for manufacturing light-transmission concrete. The method includes pouring prepared raw materials of the concrete in a mold; performing semi-hardening for the raw materials to obtain semi-hardened concrete; perforating holes in the semi-hardened concrete; filling transparent resin raw materials in the holes; enabling the transparent resin raw materials and the concrete to be hardened together; and releasing the hardened transparent resin raw materials and the hardened concrete from the mold to form the light-transmission concrete. The method has advantages of both a pre-planting method and a post-planting method, shortcomings of the pre-planting method and shortcomings of the post-planting method are overcome, the holes are perforated in the semi-hardened concrete, transparent resin is filled in the holes, at the moment, the concrete is basically formed, and accordingly mechanical and optical properties and the durability of the materials cannot be affected easily. Besides, small gaps between the concrete and the transparent resin can be repaired in a procedure that the concrete and the transparent resin are hardened together, so that the concrete can be in close contact with the transparent resin. In addition, as the transparent resin and the concrete are formed simultaneously, the required cost for individually forming optical fibers further can be reduced.
