本发明提供一种摄像装置。对象情节设定部(52)根据情节选择操作，从多个拍摄情节之中选择并设定对象情节。多个基准场景属于对象情节，向场景对照部(53)赋予与各基准场景相应的信息。场景对照部(53)基于由摄像部赋予的当前的图像信号、摄像装置的当前所在地信息及基准场景信息，判定当前的拍摄场景是否适合于任一个基准场景。拍摄完成状况管理部(54)按每个基准场景来管理是否已完成了基准场景的拍摄。在当前的拍摄场景适合于未拍摄的任一个基准场景时，通知部(55)向拍摄者发出催促该基准场景的拍摄的通知(拍摄指令通知)。从而，能够防止沿着期望情节的图像的拍摄机会错失。
