The invention relates to an umbilical special optical cable coloring technological process which comprises the following steps that an optical fiber bundle in an umbilical cable is colored on a coloring machine with coloring ink; before coloring, the coloring ink rolls on the coloring machine for 11 to 15 hours at a speed of 14 to 18 turns, so that the optical fiber bundle can be uniformly colored with the coloring ink; and during coloring, the optical fiber bundle is colored through a coloring mold and a curing oven on the coloring machine, the size of the coloring mold is controlled between 0.316 mm and 0.339 mm, the temperature of a mold base of the coloring mold is controlled between 37 DEG C and 39 DEG C, the thickness of a coloring layer is 2.0 to 2.5 mu,m, the power of the curing oven is 6 KW to 8 KW, the nitrogen flow range of the coloring mold is controlled between 4.8 liters per minute and 5.2 liters per minute, the winding displacement pitch is 0.78 mm, and the taking-up and pay-off tension is 57 to 68 grams.
