According to the extruding process, an optical fiber beam tube is extruded by an extruder; in the extruding process, the optical fiber beam tube is extruded by an extruding mould on the extruder, and passes through a first cooling water groove and a second cooling water groove after being extruded, so as to enter a winding-up step; a laying tension is controlled within a range of 80 g to 90 g; a wall thickness of the beam tube ranges from 0.41 mm to 0.45 mm; a remained length of the beam tube ranges from 0.09% to 0.1%; a mould core of the extruding mould is 5 mm in diameter; a mould sleeve is 9 mm in diameter; a winding-up tension ranges from 450 g to 500 g; an auxiliary traction tension ranges from 500 g to 550 g; a temperature range of the first cooling water groove is 35 DEG C to 40 DEG C; and a temperature range of the second cooling water groove is 10 DEG C to 14 DEG C. An optical cable manufactured by using the process provided by the invention has the advantages of reasonable remained length of the beam tube, good transmission performance of the optical cable, high temperature property and strong properties of the optical cable.
