The invention discloses a method and a system for processing a contact line system in electric and non-electric periods. The method includes checking a certain contact line system region used for supplying power for station equipment is in a power supply state or not; setting the station equipment administered by the contact line system region into an electric state if the contact line system region is in the power supply state; and determining that the contact line system region is in a power failure state if the contact line system region is not in the power supply state, and setting the station equipment administered by the contact line system region into a non-electric state. By the method, the driving safety is effectively guaranteed during power failure construction for the contact line system.
