The invention provides a method for evaluating the real-time data processing efficiency of a power grid dispatching automation system, wherein the power grid dispatching automation system comprises a front-end module, an SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) module and an SCADA real-time database; and the method comprises the following steps that: a data source is established, and the data source is used for sending analogue telemetering data including a sending time identification to the power grid dispatching automation system; detection points are arranged on the front-end module, the SCADA module and the SCADA real-time database respectively, the time when the analogue telemetering data arrives at the front-end module, the time when the SCADA module receives the analogue telemetering data, the time when the analogue telemetering data arrives at the SCADA real-time database, and the time when the analogue telemetering data is recoded in the SCADA real-time database are recorded, and compared with the sending time included by the analogue telemetering data to obtain the time for processing the analogue telemetering data, of the front-end module, the SCADA module and the SCADA real-time database respectively. The method is used for realizing evaluation on the real-time data processing efficiency of the power grid dispatching automation system; and moreover, via quantification for the data, the accuracy and the precision of the system evaluation are ensured.
