The invention relates to a large-caliber tubular bus welding process. Welding tubular buses are arranged nearby a mounting area, 5000 * 300 * 40mm and 5000 * 300 * 40mm springboards are laid below the assembly position of the tubular buses, and a layer of plastic floor is laid on the springboards; a gap between assembly welding junctions of the tubular buses is controlled between 3mm and 5mm, and a steel wire scrubbing brush is used to remove cleavages of the tubular buses and an oxide film on a liner tube before welding, so that the metallic luster is exposed; and the tubular buses are welded by argon-arc welding, and a two-layer welding mode is adopted, so that a welding seam is welded once in each layer, and the tubular buses can not move and bear force before the welded tubular buses are cooled, thereby completing welding the tubular buses. Compared with the prior art, the welding strain rate is reduced, and the weld crack is favorably avoided.
