Provided is an engine-driven sled. A base plate of the engine-driven sled is firstly arranged, the base plate is in a shape of a rectangular ship, the front portion of the base plate upwarps, and a surrounding plate is arranged at the periphery of the base plate. A power machine and a spiral propeller are installed on the back portion of the base plate. A big stopping block is arranged in the front of the spiral propeller and used for keeping out the wind. When the sled needs to go forward, the spiral propeller rotates forwards; and when the sled retrogresses or decelerates, the spiral propeller rotates backwards. A big plate is arranged on the front portion or the back portion of the sled to shift the sled. A purpose of shifting the sled is achieved by controlling shifting angles of the plate. Secondly a power machine, the spiral propeller and a driver seat are arranged on a pallet. Thirdly the power machine of the sled is changed into a motor to drive the spiral propeller. The motor is installed on the back portion of sled. A power storage device provides energy. The base plate of the sled can be used as the existing livestock sled, and two bearing plates are arranged below the base plate.
