The invention discloses a method for judging non-balanced stationary state stability of a heat pump air conditioner, wherein the change rules of the small disturbance quantity about condensation temperature and vapourization temperature steady-state value with time are as follows: c1 and c2 are constant; C is specific heat capacity of working medium; lambda1 and lambda2 are characteristic value; v1 and v2 are characteristic vector; alpha is heat transfer factor of a heat exchanger between the working medium and a high temperature heat and source, beta areis heat transfer factor of a heat exchanger between the working medium and a low temperature heat source, heat transfer factor and b is heat transfer factor rate and is equal to alpha/beta of a heat exchanger among the working medium and the high temperature and low temperature heat sources; and q H are is the known pump heat ratio and q*H is the dimensionless pump heat rate and is equal to qH/alphaTH. The method can judge the local stability of the heat pump at the known pump heat rate and the minimum input power and is good for designing the system and saving energy source; and the efficiency and the operation stability are increased.
