The invention relates to frosted paint for a LED lamp glass lampshade, which comprises the following components by weight: 30-50% of organic silicon resin, 25-40% of butyl acetate, 20-35% of copolymer of melamine and formaldehyde, 1-2% of glass powder, 1-3% of a weathering-resistant anti-aging curing agent, 0.7-1% of talcum powder, and 1-1.2% of light calcium carbonate; the frosted paint is obtained by mixing the components at normal temperature, stirring in a stirrer, and filtering by a 200-mesh sieve mesh to remove impurities. The paint of the invention is simple in production method, less in environmental pollution, convenient for application; glass lampshades produced by the paint of the invention is smooth in inner surface, uniform and tough in film, impact-resistant, and good in mechanical strength; the light distribution effect with lamps is more uniform; the light color is soft; and the whole lighting effect is good.
