The tungsten electrode with the directional crystallization large grain discharge end is characterized in that when the end of the tungsten electrode is subjected to high-frequency and ultra-high frequency induction heating, low-melting-point ingredients are volatilized, tungsten at the end is high in purity reaching to 99.999%, impurity content is reduced, and the luminous flux maintenance rate of the electrode is high during discharging. The end is directionally and quickly cooled for crystallization, crystalline grains of the tungsten at the end are large and few and arranged axially along the tungsten electrode in a columnar beam form, electronic cloud can flow in single crystalline grains freely during charging, and lower voltage build-up of luminance can be realized and normal electric conducting can be maintained without adding radiative element rare earth thorium into materials; and the electrode is made of tungsten materials and free of any rare earth metals, so that resource usage is reduced, cost is lowered and the electrode is harmless to human bodies.
