The invention discloses a forging technology for a hand braking fork-shaped pulling rod, namely, the forging technology for integrally forging a band braking pulling rod of a rail wagon. The forging technology comprises the following steps of: freely forging a blank, and then forming a rear end part in a rolling forging way, and finally forming a head through a die forging way, wherein the whole forging process is divided into head at three times; the blank free forging step is carried out following the first integral heating; the roll forging is carried out following the second integral heating, and the head is heated after rolling; and finally a fork-shaped part of the head is formed in the die forging way. The forging technology has the characteristics that the integrity of the fork-shaped pulling rod is ensured, and the forged fork-shaped pulling rod has relatively high fastness.
