The invention relates to a preparation method of collecting agent suitable for bauxite direct flotation. The preparation method of the collecting agent suitable for the bauxite direct flotation is characterized by including following steps: saturated fatty acid serves as raw materials, is dissolved in carbon tetrachloride, reacts with superfluous fuming sulphuric acid under the temperature of 20 -30 DEG C, and reaction lasts 1.5-2.5 hours; reaction temperature is increased to 50-60 DEG C and the reaction lasts 3.5-4.5 hours, so that sulfonation reaction is complete and a-sulfonate is generated; the generated a-sulfonate is mixed with oleic acid according to 1:1 mass ratio and reacts with superfluous Na2CO3 under the temperature of 50-60 DEG C, and after the reaction PH value is adjusted to 8.5, 5% solution is prepared. Therefore, the collecting agent has positive effects of strengthening selectivity, lowering dosage of the collecting agent and further lowering beneficiation cost, and has the advantages of low temperature resistance and hard water resistance.
