The invention discloses a long-distance metering method and system. The method comprises the following steps of: scheduling weight house local metering end modules dispersed on each position of an enterprise plant area by a long-distance metering end module according to a metering request initiated by a vehicle to be detected; according to scheduling information emitted from the long-distance metering end module, metering the vehicle to be metered by the weight house local metering end modules; sending a metering result to the long-distance metering end module; and outputting the metering result by voice equipment corresponding to the weight house local metering end modules. The method is applied to the system, the weight house local metering end modules are effectively and reasonably distributed to improve the metering efficiency of the vehicle to be metered.
