The invention relates to an intelligent realization method for measuring gain compression by utilizing a network instrument. The method comprises the following specific realization steps of firstly setting measuring state of a vector network instrument including the measurement information such as frequency range, scanning point quantity, power range, compression level and the like; aligning the power of a vector network analyzer to ensure the accuracy of the port output power; arranging an amplifier on an output port, and connecting the output of the amplifier to a receiving port of the vector network analyzer; and finally gradually scanning the points one by one, setting different powers on different frequency points by utilizing intelligent algorithm, obtaining a power compression point through the measurement, and further generating a test result statement.
